Competitive Program Coaches Marissa Pilger & Daniel McNair

Daniel McNair and Marissa Pilger have both been part of the NAST family for many years and because of this they argue like a brother and sister! Marissa joined the club as a beginner at age 5 and Daniel joined when he moved to Grande Prairie at age 10. Growing up, both coaches raced the provincial series with NAST and Dan moved on to ski the FIS series with Rabbit Hill for 3 years. Nowadays, you can find the coaching duo on the hill with the NAST HP groups. The pair bring an excellent combination of ski hill napping and organization to the team (you can be the judge on who fulfills which role).

When not on the ski hill Dan can be found at Big Rig Collision and 43 North Parts, where he works as the Parts Manager and Marissa works as a Behaviour Consultant for children and is completing her Masters in Counselling Psychology.

Both Marissa and Dan see the NAST Team as a second family and are so glad to be able to spend the winters doing their favourite thing, SKIING!
