Our goal within these pages is to provide easier access to up-to-date information about the team, ongoing training, weather, races and results, parent information, registration forms, schedules for bingo, casino and most importantly a medium for direct and easy communication among us.

 January 4th

That was cold. Thank you everyone for getting your kids out and braving a frosty morning. A bit chaotic starting in the cafeteria but once we got out on the hill it was just fine. Freezing but great to be out with the kids. 

The coaches met after and we will notify parents of any group changes (of which there are surprisingly few).

For parents of four year old skiers- You will have to ski with your child and be responsible for him or her for the training sessions.

Even if they are able to ski they are not functioning in the team setting yet and need a parent for their safety and the the safety of others on the hill. Contact us if you are unable to manage this.

If any of you are wondering why we start so early when it is reasonable to assume it might be warmer after 1:00 the rational is simple and it is not just our dislike of children. Years ago we trained from 1:00 to 4:00 on Sundays and the crowds, (though less then than now) made lift lines such that we could hardly get in any runs and on-hill crowds such that the runs themselves were hopeless and managing a break in the cafeteria impossible. We decided to sneak in early and be leaving as the crowds start to arrive. There are some cold mornings but we get much much more training in overall. As for the breaks, we seem to barely fit now even when we have the space almost to ourselves. If anyone wants to build us a big new chalet let the hill know.
